Yesterday, my ma-maw and pa-paw celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary. Before we ate, mom asked ma-maw for any words of wisdom or advice for the rest of us. Ma-maw said, "Go to church. Stay in church. Give and take." All night I thought of how blessed we are to have grandparents and parents committed to Christ and to each other. We have perfect pictures of what God intended for marriage. Thank you mom, dad, Jackie, Greene, Ma-maw, and Pa-paw for demonstrating God's love and for honoring Him and each other.

In each of the marriages mentioned above, your signature verse Matthew 7:25 would most likely be mentioned as the reason they stayed together. At least for ours...through it all, we have tried to establish our house, our family, our relationship on the "rock". Your dad has always said that being in church and doing life with other Christian couples helped us. I am so thankful you and Jason have Happily Hitched and pray you will always be....happily hitched.
